Enigma-IT Fest
Our thriving journey as a Xavierite initiated in 2015.At first, before becoming a member of tech club we weres in a bit of dilemma, while later, the opportunities we got, the memories we made, the amazing people we got to be friends with, are all that one hopes to get in life. Not every day was the same but various events gave multiple opportunities for personality development and self-growth. Well, what we didn’t realize was the fact that all this time, we were making memories that would last us for a lifetime. College inspired us to think differently. It’s like no other time in your life. Coming to the present scenario, when we witnessed the very First IT fest of our college “Enigma’18 -Bringing the Fiction Alive” organized by the department of computer science, gave a unique chance to exhibit one's caliber and talent. Enigma bringing the fiction alive is the finest example of giving a small idea a life. The event began with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp by the chief guest Mrs. Vimmi Walia (Asst. Manager of Quality Assurance) and Dr. Sheila Rai (Principal), Rev Fr. Joshy Kuruvilla, S.J. (Vice-Principal), Rev Fr. Periyar, Administrator, and all faculty members, St. Xavier’s College, Jaipur.There were events like Livewire, Battle of Bots, Word Warriors, Error 404, Speedo-type,Cursor Strokes, Codeescape etc.Almost all the events of the fest were judged by the professionals such as DJ Akansha Taneja,Ms. Rolika Singh (Director of Arena Animation),Ms. Purva Bhatt (Asst, Professor of Sociology), Ms.Shruti Gupta(Editorial Head, Jaipur Diaries).
Overall it was an eye-catching experience, events furnishing golden opportunities to manifest skills. The alluring event will always draw many at St. Xavier’s College, Jaipur. The department of computer science is blessed with talented students to make this event eternal. Enigma ’18 a virtual moment ended with a prize distribution ceremony marked by the presence of Rev.Fr. Varkey Perekatt, S.J. (Rector). An extending thanks to all members who helped in making Enigma’18 successful and enchanting.
