with a very interactive presentation. They drafted a presentation themselves
which made the session more interesting. It was very thoughtful of them. Alan Antony
shared about how one should not fear in taking a step back if he or she thinks
that they have taken a wrong decision. One should have an open mind; they
should be inquisitive in nature. Jitesh shared how one can look for
opportunities in abroad as well as in India. He told the students to explore as
there are many opportunities available in the world right now. Both the alumni
shared their experiences about how St.
Xavier’s molded them in academics as well as inculcated values that
disciplined them to have team spirit. Both being nostalgic to their college
years shared how they learnt some valuable lessons in their lives. They also
emphasized that most important thing one have in life is their family and
teachers. They expressed their sincere gratitude to the teaching staff members
of our department who were working in this college at that time. Walking down
the memory lane, they encouraged students to develop interests in all the
college fests that will help them in their overall development.
