Corporate Institute Interface-Virtual Industry Visit and a Guest Lecture on Cloud Collaboration Tools
The students and faculties of the Department of Computer Science witnessed the hidden corporate culture and environment during a webinar organized by the Computer Science Department on 9th October 2020.
The Resource person Mr. Vipin Jain, Quality Assurance Head, Metacube, a leading software product development company in Jaipur, precisely explained the functioning of the IT corporates and about the types of projects and their key clientele, and software used by his organization. In adding essence to the talk the importance of Quality assurance was stressed for any type of project and role of different personals at different stages of development. He emphasized that the IT personnel must have a good interpersonal relations and soft skill to grab the ladder of success. He ended with a note that to be an industrious person one should know how he collaborate with the team and not as a single role.
The second session Speaker Dr. Anubha Jain, Head & Associate Professor (CS & IT) IIS, Jaipur spoke about “Cloud Collaboration Tools”, She shared a vast information about the Cloud Computing tact and technological aspects. She elaborated the significance of few of the tools which are utilized in Cloud Collaboration using the google drive. In order to motivate and make the session lively she gave the students a boost up session on cloud through an online quiz game.
To close with
the session, Principal, Rev Fr Dr A Rex Angelo SJ addressed students and stated
about the importance of growing and learning more innovative methods through
motivation and enthusiasm. He also stressed that the students must match their
learning pace with evolutionary changes in the IT field.
